Baby Massage Classes

Learn how to massage your baby. Baby massage classes can help support parents by allowing them the time and space to nurture themselves as well as their babies. Clinical evidence shows that loving, touching, nurturing contact between parent and baby has a positive impact on subsequent development.

Baby massage classes are designed to show parents how to safely massage their baby with confidence. The course has been designed by the International Association of Infant Massage.

What Does a Session Involve?

A course in Baby Massage lasts five weeks and is suitable for babies from birth to crawling. Groups are small (between four and six) and are relaxed, informal and fun. Advance booking is recommended. Alternatively, if you would like to organise your own course for you and up to 5 friends please contact Rachel to discuss available dates and times.

Each session lasts an hour and a half and takes the format of practical massage with time for discussion at the end. The course fee includes a file with stroke review, course notes and articles, massage oil, all refreshments and a course certificate. There will also be a chance for parents to have a 15 minute Seated Acupressure Massage at some point during the course.

Course Fee
